LAMBERTI RECREATION CENTER
The Lamberti Recreation Center is a 54,000-square-foot facility that includes the six-lane, 200-meter Dennis Young Indoor Track and three multi-purpose courts: Brown Court, Pierce Court and Saggau Court; that are used for tennis, volleyball and basketball.
The BVU football, baseball, softball, golf, tennis, and track and field teams all take advantage of this facility when the weather does not permit outdoor practices. The facility is also the venue for indoor collegiate and high school track invitational meets, alumni track invitational meets, indoor tennis, youth basketball shoot-outs and intramurals.
The facility is named in honor of Don Lamberti, chair of BVU's board of trustees and chairman of Casey's General Stores, for his multi-million-dollar leadership gift in funding the new building.
